Description
The StarLighter Fluorometer S96 is a compact fluorescence reader designed for quantitative detection of DNA, RNA, microRNA, and proteins. It processes up to 96 samples using a 0.3 mL 96-well flat-bottom black ELISA plate and requires 1–20 μL of sample per well.
The instrument uses two fluorescence channels, LED light sources, a SiPMT detector, and top-reading detection. A complete 96-well plate can be read in 55 seconds. Supported test items include dsDNA, ssDNA, RNA, microRNA, proteins, and fluorescence intensity measurements.
Samples are combined with the appropriate working solution to a total volume of 200 μL per well. The instrument is operated through PC software that supports protocol creation, sample and well configuration, result review, data import, and Excel-format data export.
