Description

Precast-GLgel Hepes Native-PAGE 4–15% (10-Well) is a ready-to-use, non-denaturing gradient gel designed for analyzing proteins in their native, functionally active forms. Built with an innovative glass plate design, it significantly reduces non-specific protein adsorption and yields sharper, clearer native protein bands.

This 4–15% HEPES-based precast gel is delivered fully prepared with matching Native-PAGE running buffer, allowing users to load samples directly and eliminating the need for manual gel preparation. The 4–15% gradient range provides excellent separation performance for medium to high molecular weight native proteins, including large native protein complexes and membrane protein complexes, which require gentle electrophoresis conditions to preserve their structure.

Buffers

Buffer Hepes Running Buffer for Native PAGE (Powder)
Specification 10*500 mL
Introduction Hepes Running buffer is formulated for separation of proteins in their denaturing or nondenaturing state on Hepes-Tris gels. This product is available in powder form, a total of 10 packs, each pack can prepare 500 mL of 1× working solution.
Protocol (for reference only)
  • Take 1 pack of powder that can prepare 500 mL of hepes running buffer, pour it into a clean beaker, add 400 mL distilled water and stir to dissolve the powder completely.
  • Make up to 500 mL in the graduated cylinder with distilled water, which is 1× working solution and can be used after mixing.
  • Unused running buffer can be stored at room temperature, usually 2-3 days at room temperature and 1-2 weeks at 4°C.
Notes
  • 1× working buffer should not be used for more than 2 weeks after preparation.
  • This running buffer is suitable for Hepes-Tris gels, and should not be used for gels with other chemistries.
  • For research use only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.
  • For your safety and health, please wear personal protective equipment and clothing when operating.
Storage Store at room temperature, valid for 2 years.

Features

  • Glass plate construction effectively reduces non-specific protein adsorption, producing clearer and sharper native bands.

  • Automatic gel filling technology ensures stable quality and excellent reproducibility across batches.

  • 4–15% native gradient gel provides broad-range separation suitable for medium to high molecular weight native proteins.

  • Ideal for membrane proteins and membrane protein complexes, which require gentle, non-denaturing conditions to preserve native structure.

  • Suitable for large native protein complexes, supporting the analysis of oligomers and multi-subunit assemblies.

  • SDS-free gel matrix, designed specifically for non-denaturing electrophoresis (Native-PAGE) and compatible with downstream native protein detection.

  • Precast and ready to use, eliminating gel preparation steps and saving significant laboratory time.

  • Long shelf life and convenient storage at 2–8°C.

Applications

  • Native-PAGE analysis of proteins in non-denatured form

  • Separation of medium to high molecular weight native proteins

  • Electrophoresis of membrane proteins and membrane protein complexes

  • Analysis of native multiprotein complexes

  • Western blot (WB) after native separation

  • Experiments requiring a 4–15% native gradient gel

Storage

2~8°C, do not freeze
