Product Description
Solid-phase double-antibody sandwich ELISA for quantitative detection of residual bovine serum albumin (BSA). Microtiter strips are pre-coated with affinity-purified sheep anti-BSA capture antibody. Samples and calibration standards are incubated in the coated wells, followed by a biotinylated sheep anti-BSA detection antibody and streptavidin–HRP. TMB substrate is used for color development (blue product, max absorbance ~655 nm) and reaction is stopped to yield a yellow product read at 450 nm (with 620–650 nm reference). OD450 correlates with BSA concentration and sample results are calculated using a 4-parameter logistic (4-PL) calibration curve.

Kit Contents
Attention
• For Research Use Only (not for clinical use).
• Store the kit at 2-8 °C; check expiration dates on labels.
• Avoid BSA contamination of the workspace and consumables; perform assay in BSA-free environment.
• Do not mix reagents from different lot numbers.
• Use fresh ultra-pure water; water temperature should not exceed 37 °C.
• Avoid samples containing sodium azide (NaN3) because it inhibits HRP and will cause underestimation.
• Stop Solution is 1 M HCl — avoid direct contact with skin, eyes and clothing; wear goggles and appropriate PPE.
• Prepare Anti-BSA:Biotinylated Conjugate and Streptavidin-HRP fresh before use and centrifuge concentrates before dilution.
• TMB Substrate must be colorless before use; discard and contact support if colored.
• Do not allow wells to dry during the assay; seal plate to prevent evaporation after incubations.
• Plate reading should be completed within 30 minutes after stopping the reaction.
• Minimum recommended volume for accurate dilution steps is 5 µL; pipette carefully to avoid bubbles.
• Recommended to validate the method for each sample matrix prior to routine testing.
