Description
YM Medium is a specialized culture medium for Agrobacterium growth, transformation, and gene expression.
It is widely used in Agrobacterium electroporation and Agrobacterium-mediated plant transformation, where it significantly improves transformation efficiency compared with traditional LB broth.
Studies and internal validation show that YM Medium for Agrobacterium can increase electroporation efficiency by up to 40-fold, while effectively reducing bacterial cell aggregation. This results in more uniform cultures, making YM Medium an ideal Agrobacterium transformation medium for plant infection and downstream molecular biology applications.

Storage and Stability
Store powdered media at RT. Stable for 12 months after receipt. Opened bottles should be capped tightly and kept in a dark, low humidity environment. Prepared media should be kept refrigerated and used within a short period of time.
