Description
TBE Buffer (Tris-Borate-EDTA) 10× Solution is a concentrated electrophoresis buffer designed for high-resolution DNA analysis in both agarose gel and polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis applications. By simply diluting the concentrate with distilled or deionized water, researchers can rapidly prepare a consistent 1× working solution while eliminating the variability associated with manual buffer preparation.
TBE buffer is widely used for PCR product analysis, DNA fragment sizing, molecular cloning workflows, restriction digestion verification, and nucleic acid quality assessment. Compared with TAE buffer, TBE provides superior separation of DNA fragments ranging from approximately 100 bp to 3 kb, producing sharper bands and improved resolution for routine molecular biology applications.
Its higher buffering capacity also makes TBE an excellent choice for extended electrophoresis runs and high-voltage applications, helping maintain stable pH and consistent migration performance throughout the experiment. Whether used for routine PCR verification or demanding analytical electrophoresis workflows, TBE Buffer 10× Solution delivers reliable and reproducible results for research laboratories.
