Description
The P27 protein of the feline leukemia virus (FeLV) is the core capsid protein of the virus and is abundantly present in the serum of infected cats. Recombinant P27 antigen is primarily used for developing diagnostic reagents for detecting FeLV antigen (e.g., ELISA, rapid immunochromatographic tests) to aid in the early diagnosis and screening of feline leukemia virus infection.
