Description
Precast-Gel Hepes-Tris 6% (15-Well) is a high-performance precast polyacrylamide gel designed to deliver superior band resolution and stable, repeatable electrophoresis results. Manufactured using automated gel casting technology, each gel features a glass plate that minimizes non-specific protein adsorption, producing sharper and clearer protein bands. The gel supports electrophoresis in 40–50 minutes at 150 V and is compatible with denaturing and native electrophoresis due to its SDS-free formulation.
The cassette can be easily opened using a Gel Knife by gently pushing along each side. GLASS Gels (Hepes-Tris) are available in multiple acrylamide concentrations, including gradient formats, with customization options for special requirements. When using fluorescent loading buffer Quick Bands (Catalog #: ES008), protein bands can be visualized directly under UV or LED light without stripping, staining, or destaining.
