The MS-H-ProM LCD Digital Enhanced Magnetic Hotplate Stirrer with Timer is a powerful laboratory instrument designed for precise heating and efficient mixing of liquid samples. Equipped with a Ø135 mm ceramic-coated aluminum work plate, the unit offers excellent chemical resistance and uniform heat distribution, making it suitable for demanding laboratory heating and stirring applications.
This hotplate stirrer supports a maximum stirring volume of up to 20 L (H₂O) and provides a speed range of 100–1500 rpm. Enhanced magnetic coupling and a powerful brushless DC motor ensure stable stirring performance, even for moderately viscous liquids. The LCD display simultaneously shows real-time values for temperature and speed, enabling accurate monitoring and convenient control during experiments.
The heating system provides a temperature range from room temperature up to 340 °C with precise digital adjustment. Three selectable heating modes—fast heating, standard heating, and steady heating—allow users to optimize temperature ramping according to experimental requirements. When connected to the PT1000 external temperature sensor (±0.2 °C accuracy), the device enables highly accurate temperature monitoring and control.
The integrated timer function allows programmable operation from 1 minute to 99 hours 59 minutes. When the countdown finishes, the system automatically stops heating while continuing stirring to protect samples from overheating. Smooth acceleration and deceleration ensure stable operation and minimize the risk of sample spillage.
For safety, the instrument features residual heat warning above 50 °C, overheating protection at 420 °C, and dual independent safety circuits that continuously monitor the system. If abnormal conditions such as sensor malfunction or overheating occur, the device automatically stops heating and alerts the user. With RS232 connectivity for PC control and a robust design, the MS-H-ProM hotplate stirrer provides reliable heating and mixing performance for modern laboratory environments.
