High-Purity Agarose Tablets are engineered to streamline nucleic acid electrophoresis workflows by eliminating the need for manual weighing and reducing exposure to hazardous airborne dust. Each tablet contains exactly 0.5 g of premium, low-EEO agarose, ensuring high reproducibility and eradicating user-to-user variance in gel concentration.
Manufactured utilizing an eco-friendly, organic solvent-free process, these pre-weighed tablets dissolve rapidly in standard running buffers. The resulting agarose gels exhibit exceptional clarity and high physical strength, providing sharp band resolution and low background noise for both analytical and preparative DNA and RNA separation.
All tablets are rigorously tested and certified free of detectable DNase, RNase, and protease activity.

Protocol Notes

Soak the tablet in the running buffer for 2 to 3 minutes until it completely disintegrates before heating.

Heat in a microwave until boiling, swirl gently to suspend any remaining particles, and heat again until the agarose is completely dissolved and the solution is entirely clear.

Allow the solution to cool to approximately 60 C before adding nucleic acid stains and pouring into the gel tray.
