Compatible with Bio-Rad Mini Systems and Free MOPS Buffer
Description
FuturePAGE™ Precast Protein Gels are polyacrylamide electrophoresis gels designed for the separation of a wide range of protein sizes. They are available in 12-well and 15-well formats, with large sample loading capacities—up to 50 µL per well for the 12-well format and 30 µL per well for the 15-well format.
Produced using automated gel-casting technology, FuturePAGE™ gels ensure excellent batch-to-batch consistency and superior quality. The unique gel buffer formula delivers sharper bands and higher resolution, while the neutral pH prevents protein re-modification during electrophoresis, thereby improving protein stability and gel performance.
Compared with traditional hand-cast gels, FuturePAGE™ Precast Protein Gels offer the following advantages:
-
Easy to use: Ready-to-use format saves preparation time.
-
Safe and reliable: Eliminates the need to handle toxic reagents.
-
Accurate and reproducible results: Automated casting technology ensures consistent quality and experimental reproducibility.

Operation Procedure
1. Unpack & Remove Tape

2.Remove Comb

3. Insert Gel Plate

4. Setup & Buffer Filling
Pour an appropriate running buffer into the inner chamber of the apparatus until the wells are covered by approximately 5–7 mm. Add the same buffer to the outer chamber to ensure efficient cooling. For optimal performance, maintain the buffer level in the outer chamber slightly lower than that in the inner chamber, and ensure it does not submerge the gel plates.

5. Sample Loading
Rinse wells with 1× electrophoresis buffer to remove any bubbles if needed, then load protein samples and start the run.
6.Quick Gel Removal
After electrophoresis, simply remove the gel cassette and insert the opener into the side gap.
Gently twist to separate the plates—the gel releases in seconds.
Discard the empty plate, optionally rinse the gel side with water, and lift the gel off effortlessly.

7. Stain or Transfer

Voltage: 160 V
Running Buffer: MOPS Running Buffer (50 mM Tris, 50 mM MOPS, 0.1% SDS, 1 mM EDTA, pH 7.7)
Staining Method: Coomassie staining
Gel Separation Range
Different concentrations of FuturePAGE™ precast protein gels have different separation ranges.
