Product Description
Bingene Dye is a green fluorescent nucleic acid dye that is non-fluorescent by itself, but becomes fluorescent upon binding to dsDNA. It has the following features:
-
Lower fluorescent background.
-
Higher fluorescence intensity.
-
Less inhibitory than SYBR Green I and less likely to cause non-specific amplification.
-
Environmentally safe, non-mutagenic, and non-cytotoxic. Unsurpassed thermal stability, chemical stability, and photostability.
-
Compatible with instruments equipped with the 488 nm argon laser or any visible light excitation with wavelength in the region.
-
Amplification reaction can be monitored using existing optical setting for SYBR Green I or FAM on any commercial real-time PCR cycler.

Procedures
-
Set up the nucleic acid amplification reaction as usual, add 20×Bingene Dye at a ratio of 20:1 (for a reaction of 20mL final volume, add 1 mL Bingene Dye),add ddH2O to the final volume of choice.
-
Perform amplification on a thermocycling fluorometer and record the fluorescence signal at the annealing or extension step for PCR or collect signal in every minute for isothermal amplification.
Note: When using ABI Sequence Detection Systems, make sure to select NONE for the passive reference under the tab WELL INSPECTOR
