Background

This gene encodes a tumor suppressor protein that acts as an antagonist of the Wnt signaling pathway. It is also involved in other processes including cell migration and adhesion, transcriptional activation, and apoptosis. Defects in this gene cause familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP), an autosomal dominant pre-malignant disease that usually progresses to malignancy. Disease-associated mutations tend to be clustered in a small region designated the mutation cluster region (MCR) and result in a truncated protein product.

Description

The APC Mouse Monoclonal Antibody (ARA727) is a fluorochrome-conjugated primary antibody specifically designed for flow cytometric detection of mouse CD127 (Interleukin-7 Receptor alpha, IL-7Rα).
This antibody is directly conjugated to Allophycocyanin (APC), enabling high-sensitivity, single-step staining without the need for secondary antibodies.

Clone A7R34 recognizes an extracellular epitope of mouse CD127, a key immunological marker involved in T cell and B cell development, immune homeostasis, and lymphocyte differentiation.
The APC fluorophore provides bright fluorescence, low background, and excellent signal-to-noise performance, making this antibody ideal for multicolor flow cytometry panels.

Each lot is quality controlled for specificity and performance in Flow Cytometry (FC/FCM) and supplied with complete documentation.

For Research Use Only (RUO). Not for diagnostic or therapeutic use.

Data

APC Mouse Monoclonal Antibody(ARA727)

Western blot analysis of APC expression in Hela (A), A549 (B), HL60 (C), U2OS (D) whole cell lysates. (Predicted band size: 312 kD; Observed band size: 160 kD)

APC Mouse Monoclonal Antibody(ARA727)

Immunofluorescent analysis of APC staining in Lncap cells. Formalin-fixed cells were permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100 in TBS for 5-10 minutes and blocked with 3% BSA-PBS for 30 minutes at room temperature. Cells were probed with the primary antibody in 3% BSA-PBS and incubated overnight at 4 °C in a hidified chamber. Cells were washed with PBST and incubated with a AF488-conjugated secondary antibody (green) in PBS at room temperature in the dark.

Storage

Store at 4°C short term. For long term storage, store at -20°C, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles.
