Features

Premium High-Binding Surface

  • Enhanced Adsorption: Specially treated polystyrene surface maximizes the passive adsorption of hydrophobic and hydrophilic proteins or peptides (≈400-500 ng/c㎡).

  • Consistent Yields: Minimizes well-to-well and batch-to-batch coefficient of variation (CV) for highly reliable data.

Cost-Efficient Detachable Design

  • 8×12 Strip Format: Run only the number of 8-well clear strips needed for your current batch, preventing the waste of unused wells.

  • Optical Clarity with Rigid Support: Optically clear flat-bottom wells allow precise microplate reader detection, while the sturdy white frame ensures smooth handling.

Automation-Ready Standards

  • ANSI/SLAS Compliant: Designed to standard SBS footprints, ensuring seamless integration with automated liquid handlers, plate washers, and robotic systems.

  • Well Geometry: Optimized working volume of 75–200 μL (300 μL max capacity) tailored for standard colorimetric assays.

Strict Quality & Purity Assurance

  • Contamination-Free: Certified DNase-free, RNase-free, and non-pyrogenic to protect delicate biological reagents.

  • Controlled Production: Manufactured under strict cleanroom conditions to eliminate background interference and noise.

Applications

  • Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assays (ELISA): Direct, Indirect, Sandwich, and Competitive ELISAs.

  • Antibody/Antigen Screening: Ideal for hybridoma screening and vaccine development quantification.

  • Protein-Protein Interaction Assays: Solid-phase binding assays requiring passive immobilization of capture proteins.

  • Diagnostics Kit Manufacturing: Perfect base component for commercial in vitro diagnostic (IVD) test kits.

FAQ

Q1: What is the protein binding capacity of this high-binding plate?
A: Our high-binding surface is treated to bind approximately 400–500 ng of protein/cm², making it highly suitable for medium-to-large proteins (>10 kDa) or antibodies containing both hydrophobic and hydrophilic regions.
Q2: Why use a white frame with clear wells/strips?
A: The clear wells allow accurate bottom-reading and visual inspection of colorimetric reactions, while the solid white frame provides maximum structural rigidity for automated grippers and minimizes ambient light interference during handling.
Q3: Are these plates sterile, and do they come with lids?
A: These plates are packaged without lids and are non-sterile, which is the industry standard for standard ELISA workflows. Because ELISA involves multiple washing steps and blocking agents, sterility is rarely required unless handling live cultures directly in the plate beforehand.
Q4: Can these plates be used for luminescence or fluorescence assays?
A: While the clear wells are excellent for colorimetric (absorbance) ELISA, for high-sensitivity luminescence or fluorescence assays, we recommend our solid white or solid black microplates to eliminate well-to-well crosstalk.
Q5: What are the storage conditions and shelf life?
A: Store at room temperature in a dry environment. Keep bags sealed when not in use to protect the modified surface chemistry from atmospheric moisture. The product has a shelf life of 3 years under optimal conditions.
