| Summary | Tris-Glycine system gels are an out-of-the-box, optimal alternative to manual gels. Plastic acrylic (PMMA) rubber sheet is used, which has very good transparency, chemical stability and resistance. The coating on the rubber plate can greatly reduce the adsorption of the ordinary uncoated plastic plate on the protein sample during electrophoresis. Tris-Glycine system gels are available with different fixed and gradient concentrations, equipped with 10-well and 15-well combs, with a maximum sample volume of 50 μl and 30 μl, respectively, with high electrophoresis resolution and clearer and sharper protein bands. The standard size of 10 x 8 cm fits most Mini vertical electrophoresis tanks on the market and the gel itself is non-denaturing, and the corresponding running buffer can be used for SDS-PAGE or Native-PAGE electrophoresis, which is suitable for a wide range of applications and is more cost-effective. |
