Description
Designed for rapid ultrafiltration and biomolecule concentration, the Featain® Centrifugal Filter Device enables efficient concentration and purification of diluted or complex biological samples with high recovery and fast processing speed.
Featuring a low-protein-binding PES ultrafiltration membrane, the centrifugal filter device supports rapid sample processing while reducing concentration polarization and membrane contamination. The ultrafiltration system enables concentration of proteins, nucleic acids, enzymes, antibodies, antigens, and other macromolecules with concentration factors of up to several-fold to tens-fold, depending on the molecular weight cutoff (MWCO) and sample conditions.
The integrated lid, filter membrane, and centrifuge tube assembly simplifies operation and sample handling. The translucent housing and volume scale allow convenient monitoring during centrifugation, while the ultrafiltrate is collected directly in the supplied centrifuge tube and the concentrate can be easily recovered using a pipette.
