Description
EZcap FilmStrips provide a sterile, high-performance sealing solution certified DNase- and RNase-free, ensuring reliable protection for sensitive biological samples. These foil strips offer excellent chemical resistance, including compatibility with DMSO, and are universally suited for use with flat-top and raised-rim microplates. Their compact dimensions and rounded corners prevent plate overhang, making them particularly suitable for automated and robotics-based workflows.
Constructed from 2.0 mil aluminum foil, the films resist shredding during removal and are ideal for cold storage environments. The conformable material allows clear visual inspection of seal integrity around each well, while the film can be easily pierced with pipette tips or robotic probes for direct sample access. A specially formulated adhesive provides a strong and secure seal, minimizing evaporation, reducing cross-contamination, and preventing liquid leakage. The films remove cleanly without residue and are designed with a convenient single end-tab featuring perforations for effortless application and removal.
