Description
This product is a recombinant avian myeloblastoma reverse transcriptase expressed by Escherichia coli. AMV RT is a heterodimer consisting of two distinct subunits (alpha 65 KDa and beta 94 KDa subunits). AMV RT has a variety of activities, including RNA and DNA-dependent DNA polymerase activity, DNA-RNA unwinding activity, sequence-specific Mn2+-dependent endonuclease activity, and RNase H (45~60°C) retention activity, so it can reverse transcribe RNA containing a large number of secondary complex structures.
