Product Description
SHENTEK® REO-3 Positive Control is an armored RNA positive control intended for use with SHENTEK® Virus DNA & RNA Extraction and Detection Kits. It is supplied to monitor the entire process of REO-3 RNA extraction and RT-PCR detection assays. The product is provided ready for direct use (no dilution required) and supplied as 100 μL × 3 tubes. The control supports assay process monitoring, method validation and routine quality control. The product is for research use only and not for clinical diagnosis or treatment.

• Thaw one tube completely at 2–8 °C or on ice, then vortex thoroughly and centrifuge briefly before use.
• Follow the Positive Control Sample (PCS) preparation protocol in the SHENTEK® REO-3 Detection Kit or SHENTEK® Bovine Virus Detection Kit user guide.
• This product is ready for direct use without dilution when prepared per instructions.
• Equilibrate to room temperature before use and avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles.
• Do not mix reagents from different batches.
• Intended for research use only — not for clinical diagnosis or treatment.
• Although armored RNA is safer than naked RNA, it is recommended to handle the product in a biosafety cabinet.
• Experimental waste should be sterilized by autoclave and disposed of in accordance with medical waste regulations.
