Product Description

SHENTEK® BAV-3 Positive Control is a ready-to-use positive control intended for use with SHENTEK® Virus DNA & RNA Extraction and Detection Kits. It is designed to monitor the entire process of BAV-3 DNA extraction and PCR detection assays. The product is supplied as an inactivated replication-defective pseudovirus, providing a safe surrogate for process control. Supplied as pre-aliquoted tubes, the control requires thawing, vortexing and brief centrifugation prior to use and can be used directly without dilution. This product is intended for research use only (RUO) and is not for clinical diagnosis or treatment.
