Description
WJ101 consists of 9 protein bands ranging from 15 kDa to 150 kDa (15 kDa, 20 kDa, 25 kDa, 35 kDa, 40 kDa, 50 kDa, 70 ka, 100 kDa, 150 kDa). WJ102, WJ103, and WJ106 consist of 11 protein bands ranging from 10 kDa to 250 kDa (10 kDa, 15 kDa, 20 kDa, 25 kDa, 35 kDa, 40 kDa, 50 kDa, 70 kDa, 100 kDa, 150 kDa, 250 kDa). These bands cover a range of molecular weights from low to high, allowing for monitoring of protein separation during electrophoresis, determining the molecular weight of target proteins, and evaluating membrane transfer efficiency in Western Blot experiments. Bands at 25 kDa and 70 kDa are coupled with red or green dyes, facilitating real-time observation of the electrophoresis process and assessment of protein molecular weight. WJ106 is particularly suitable for near-infrared fluorescence imaging systems.
Buffer Composition: 62.5 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5 at 25°C), 1 mM EDTA, 2% (W/V) SDS, 10 mM DTT, 33% (W/V) glycerol.

Operating Instructions
1.Before Loading: Allow the sample to sit at room temperature for a few minutes. After thawing, gently mix by swirling to ensure the solution is homogeneous.
2.Loading: Load an appropriate volume of the sample into the gel wells. The recommended volume is 2-5 μL per well, but this can be adjusted based on specific needs.
3.Storage: After use, seal the tube and store it at 4°C or -20°C.
Note: For a 5 μL sample, the protein content of each band in WJ101, WJ102, WJ103, and WJ106 is approximately 1 μg to 3 μg.
Molecular Weights (kDa) of Each Band in WJ101, WJ102, WJ103, and WJ106 Under Different Electrophoresis Buffer Conditions
Precautions
- This product includes the loading buffer and should be used directly without heating or boiling.
- To avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles and contamination, aliquot the product and store at -20°C.
- The pre-stained protein molecular weight markers are intended for approximate molecular weight reference only, with batch-to-batch variation of about 5%.
- For use with near-infrared fluorescence imaging systems, please select WJ106.
- In low-concentration gels, low molecular weight bands may co-migrate with the front and cannot be resolved.
- The migration rate of pre-stained proteins may vary in different gels and buffer systems. Calibration with unstained protein molecular weight markers is recommended, and adjustments should be made according to the calibrated results.
- Protein markers may exhibit non-specific binding to antibodies. Optimization can be achieved by reducing antibody concentration, shortening incubation time, and decreasing the amount of protein marker used.
- For your safety and health, wear lab coats and disposable gloves during handling.
- This product is for research use only.
Storage
This product requires shipping with ice packs. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. It has a shelf life of 3 months at 4°C and 24 months at -20°C.
