Description

PBS Solution (Phosphate Buffered Saline) is supplied as a 500 mL 10X concentrated Cell Culture Grade buffer recommended for immunohistology protocols. The concentrated formulation allows preparation of up to 5 L of 1X PBS working solution for routine laboratory workflows.

The 1X PBS formulation contains 137 mM Sodium Chloride, 2.7 mM Potassium Chloride and 10 mM Phosphate Buffer with a pH of 7.4–7.6 at 25°C. The solution is sterile and tested free of detectable DNase, RNase and protease activity, making it suitable for cell culture, ELISA, Western blotting, immunological assays and molecular biology workflows.
