Description

Cy5-conjugated Goat anti-Rabbit IgG is a far-red fluorescent secondary antibody designed for the detection of rabbit primary antibodies in immunofluorescence and fluorescence imaging applications. The Cy5 fluorophore provides strong fluorescence intensity, reduced autofluorescence interference, and excellent compatibility with multicolor staining workflows.

This fluorescent secondary antibody reacts with whole molecule rabbit IgG and recognizes the light chains of other rabbit immunoglobulins. Based on immunoelectrophoresis and/or ELISA testing, no antibody activity was detected against non-immunoglobulin serum proteins. The antibody has also been tested by ELISA and/or solid-phase adsorption to minimize cross-reactivity with human, mouse, and rat serum proteins, helping reduce nonspecific background staining in fluorescence imaging experiments.
