Description
The FeaVacu® Vacuum Filtration Device with 0.22 μm hydrophilic PTFE membrane is designed for high-throughput filtration of aqueous solutions, buffers, cell culture media, and chemically demanding reagents. This disposable vacuum filtration system supports reliable bacterial-retentive filtration, clean filtrate, and broad chemical compatibility, making it ideal for laboratory, research, bioprocess, and analytical applications.
Important Note: This device is non-sterile as supplied. If sterile conditions are required, the device must be autoclaved prior to use. Hydrophilic PTFE membranes cannot be sterilized by gamma irradiation or chemical sterilization and should only be sterilized by autoclaving.
Constructed from USP Class VI polystyrene, the device is available in 250 mL, 500 mL, and 1000 mL formats, featuring a vacuum bottle top with nozzle and a receiving bottle. Its single-use design minimizes cross-contamination risk and simplifies laboratory workflows. After autoclaving of cell culture media, buffer preparation, and analytical sample processing.
