Description

Centrifuge tube freezer racks hold 15 mL or 50 mL conical tubes upright in –80°C ultra-low temperature freezers, so tubes stay organized, labeled and easy to find instead of loose in bags or boxes. These SUS304 stainless steel racks are compatible with the full range of Haier Biomedical ultra-low temperature freezers.

Keeping conical tubes in fixed rack positions supports freezer inventory maps and reduces the time the door stays open while searching for a sample. The handle is designed to resist freezing to the rack, so racks can be lifted out easily at –80°C.

SUS304 stainless steel contains about 8% nickel and resists corrosion through repeated frost and defrost cycles. All seams are joined by pulsed capacitor discharge resistance welding for strong, clean, smooth welds.

FAQs

Which tubes do these racks hold?

Choose the 15 mL rack for 15 mL conical tubes and the 50 mL rack for 50 mL conical tubes. Both fit standard conical centrifuge tubes, including Biofargo 801151 15 mL and 801501 50 mL sterile conical tubes.

Can the racks be used in a –80°C freezer?

Yes. The racks are made of SUS304 stainless steel for –80°C ultra-low temperature freezer storage and are compatible with the full range of Haier Biomedical ultra-low temperature freezers.

Why use a stainless steel rack instead of a plastic tube rack?

Stainless steel stays rigid at –80°C and resists corrosion through repeated frost and defrost cycles, while many plastic racks become brittle at ultra-low temperatures.

Can I order a custom rack size?

Yes. Contact Biofargo with your freezer model and tube size for a custom configuration.
