Description
Agarose B is optimized for pulsed-field electrophoresis. This product has a high gel strength, which facilitate the preparation of low concentration gels for resolving LARGE (>20 kb) fragments.
Agarose B Low EEO is a high-performance biotechnology-grade agarose designed for applications requiring superior resolution of large DNA molecules. Its combination of high gel strength and controlled electroendosmosis (EEO) enables the preparation of stable low-concentration gels while maintaining excellent separation performance for high-molecular-weight nucleic acids.
The product is particularly suitable for pulsed-field gel electrophoresis (PFGE), genomic DNA analysis, restriction fragment separation, and other molecular biology workflows involving large DNA fragments. The low EEO characteristics help minimize electroosmotic effects, improving band sharpness and migration consistency during electrophoresis. Agarose B also features high gel integrity, making gels easier to handle during staining, imaging, excision, and downstream recovery procedures.
