DESCRIPTION

The Haier Biomedical DW-86L578J is a 578 L (20.4 cu.ft) upright ultra-low temperature freezer with a microprocessor-controlled range of -40 °C to -86 °C. Four independently insulated inner doors divide the chamber into separate compartments, so retrieving one sample set does not warm the remainder — a meaningful advantage for biorepositories and core facilities with frequent door openings. Vacuum insulation panels and a hydrocarbon (HC) cascade refrigeration system hold energy consumption and heat rejection down, and the DW-86L578J configuration is UL certified and ENERGY STAR listed.

Typical applications include long-term storage of plasma, serum, cell lines, enzymes, nucleic acids and other biological reagents in blood banks, hospital and public health laboratories, academic research institutes, and pharmaceutical and biotechnology R&D facilities.
