How to Use

Note: The following instructions are for general reference only. Please optimize the protocol based on your specific experimental design.

  • Phase Separation: Add an equal volume of Chloroform:isoamyl alcohol (24:1) to your aqueous nucleic acid sample previously treated with phenol.

  • Homogenization: Vortex the mixture vigorously for several seconds to form a complete emulsion.

  • Centrifugation: Spin the mixture under recommended laboratory speeds and temperature to cleanly separate the phases.

  • Recovery: Carefully aspirate the upper aqueous phase containing the purified DNA/RNA into a fresh, sterile tube, leaving the interphase proteins behind.
