StripSure™ is a ready-to-use stripping buffer formulated to efficiently remove primary and secondary antibodies from Western blot membranes while fully preserving membrane-bound target proteins for reliable re-probing. It's compatible with PVDF, nitrocellulose, and nylon membranes, and delivers complete antibody removal in a single 20-minute incubation at room temperature with only gentle agitation required — no heat, no harsh chemicals, no lengthy prep.

Performance testing confirms that StripSure™ eliminates detectable signal from previously probed antibodies (validated against anti-ATG7) while leaving target proteins fully intact on the membrane. Re-probing after stripping produced strong, specific signals with both a non-phospho antibody (β-actin) and a phospho-specific antibody (phospho-STAT3, Tyr705) — demonstrating that StripSure™ is gentle enough for even sensitive phospho-specific detection workflows.

How It Works

1. Initial wash — Rinse the membrane once with deionized water to remove residual detection reagents.

2. Stripping — Gently mix StripSure™ until homogeneous (do not dilute) and completely immerse the membrane, ensuring it's fully covered.

3. Incubation — Incubate for 20 minutes at room temperature (20–25°C) with gentle agitation.

4. Rinsing — Remove the stripping buffer and rinse 3 times with deionized water, or 3 times with TBST (recommended for sensitive applications).

5. Re-equilibration — Equilibrate the membrane in TBST for 5 minutes.

6. Re-probing — Proceed with your standard Western blot workflow: primary antibody incubation, wash, secondary antibody incubation, wash, and detection.

Important: Ensure the membrane is completely submerged in StripSure™ throughout the stripping step for consistent, even results.
