Description
Laboratories may need to run different real-time PCR programs without waiting for one full 96-well experiment to finish. The SLAN®-96P 96-well real-time PCR system addresses this workflow requirement with two independent 48-well reaction modules. Users can run two separate 48-well experiments with different amplification programs or operate the system as one 96-well experiment.
This dual-block real-time PCR system combines a 2 × 48-well format with a sample volume of 15–100 µL and compatibility with 0.2 mL PCR tubes. Its temperature control system provides a 4–99°C operating range, a maximum heating and cooling rate of 4.0°C/s, temperature uniformity of ±0.1°C, and temperature accuracy of ±0.1°C.
For laboratories performing multiplex real-time PCR, the SLAN®-96P supports four standard fluorescence channels and up to six channels with optional configurations. Compatible probes and dyes include FAM, SYBR Green, VIC, HEX, JOE, TET, TAMRA, Cy3, ROX, Texas Red, CY5, Quasar 705, and Atto 425. The system supports six-target fluorescence detection without cross-interference correction and does not require internal reference dye correction.
The SLAN®-96P also supports high-resolution melting analysis. Its software covers qualitative analysis, absolute quantification, standard melting curves, endpoint allele identification, melting-curve genotyping, and high-resolution melting curves. Experimental data can be exported in XLSX, CSV, and TXT formats.

Features
Independent 2 × 48-Well Operation
The SLAN®-96P has two independent 48-well reaction modules. Laboratories can run two experiments with different amplification programs or use the system for one 96-well experiment.
Precise Temperature Control
Point-by-point temperature compensation provides ±0.1°C well-to-well temperature uniformity. The system also provides ±0.1°C temperature accuracy and a maximum heating and cooling rate of 4.0°C/s.
Maintenance-Free Fluorescence Detection
The optical system uses a high-power, maintenance-free LED excitation source and a high-sensitivity photoelectric detector. Fluorescence is collected from the side of the reaction tube.
No Internal Reference Dye Correction
The optical design provides consistent fluorescence detection across sample wells without an edge effect. Internal reference dye correction is not required.
Up to Six Fluorescence Channels
The 96-well qPCR instrument supports four standard fluorescence channels. Channels 5 and 6 are optional, allowing the system to be configured for up to six-channel multiplex real-time PCR detection.
Automatic Gain Selection
The system automatically selects the optimal gain according to the measured fluorescence value, without requiring manual gain adjustment.
High-Resolution Melting Support
The SLAN®-96P combines its optical and temperature performance with software analysis algorithms for high-resolution melting curve analysis. Both step and continuous scanning modes are supported.
Open Reagent and Consumables Platform
The system uses an open reagent and consumables platform and is compatible with 0.2 mL PCR tubes.
