Description
The three mammalian isoforms, TGF-β1, β2, and β3, signal through the same receptor and elicit similar biological responses.
They are multifunctional cytokines that regulate cell proliferation, growth, differentiation, and motility, as well as the synthesis and deposition of the extracellular matrix.
They participate in a variety of physiological processes, including embryogenesis, tissue remodeling, and wound healing.
They are primarily secreted in the form of latent complexes, which are stored on the cell surface and in the extracellular matrix.
The release of biologically active TGF-β isoforms from the latent complexes involves proteolysis, processing of the complex, and/or conformational changes in proteins such as thrombospondin-1.
TGF-β1 is the most abundant isoform secreted by nearly all cell types.
It was originally thought to have the ability to induce phenotypic transformation of fibroblasts and has recently been implicated in the formation of skin tumors.

Instructions
Centrifuge before reopening the tube. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in 4 mM HCl. It is recommended to reconstitute the protein to a concentration greater than 100 μg/mL. For the 10 μg specification product, please reconstitute with no less than 200 μL; use as soon as possible after reconstitution.
After reconstitution, the protein can be stored at -80°C for 3-6 months and at 2-8°C for 2-7 days. For optimal storage, aliquot the protein and minimize freeze-thaw cycles.
Precautions
This product is only suitable for in vitro cell culture and cannot be used directly in clinical treatment.
