Description
PARP1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
PARP1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody is a research-use antibody suitable for Western Blot (WB) and Immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications. The antibody targets PARP1, a chromatin-associated poly(ADP-ribosyl)transferase involved in DNA-dependent modification of nuclear proteins.

Target Background
This gene encodes a chromatin-associated enzyme, poly(ADP-ribosyl)transferase, which modifies various nuclear proteins by poly(ADP-ribosyl)ation. The modification is dependent on DNA and is involved in the regulation of important cellular processes such as differentiation, proliferation, tumor transformation, and the molecular events involved in recovery from DNA damage. In addition, this enzyme may be the site of mutation in Fanconi anemia and may participate in the pathophysiology of type I diabetes.
Validation Data
WB PIC Description: P106401-WB-1-P
IHC PIC Description: Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded human breast cancer tissue using P106401 (PARP1 Antibody) at dilution 1:20.
Note: The IHC validation image was generated at 1:20 dilution. The recommended IHC dilution range is 1:25–1:100.
