Biofargo Inc., based in Richmond, Virginia, is a leading national distributor of laboratory supplies and equipment. Founded in 2021 by Dr. Cindy Wang, our mission is to advance scientific research by delivering exceptional value to the research community. Dr. Wang is a published author, former postdoctoral researcher at Virginia Commonwealth University, and a fellow of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Drawing on her own experience as a scientist, Dr. Wang understood the challenges researchers face in sourcing lab supplies—ranging from high costs and limited availability to inconsistent quality. To address these issues, she established Biofargo as a people-focused distributor, committed to providing high-quality laboratory products at competitive prices. Since our founding, Biofargo has seen consistent year-over-year growth, and in 2025 we achieved our highest growth to date, welcoming over 800 new clients into the Biofargo community.
