Description
YM Medium: YM medium is specifically formulated for the growth and expression of Agrobacterium. Use of YM Medium in electroporation of Agrobacterium results in up to a 40-fold increase in transformation efficiency when compares with the use of LB broth. No aggregation of Agrobacterium was observed when YM Medium was used in culturing the bacteria for plant infection.
