Background
Claudin18.2 (CLDN18.2) is a splice variant of the tight junction protein Claudin18. Aberrantly expressed in gastric, pancreatic, biliary, ovarian, and lung adenocarcinomas, CLDN18.2 has emerged as a promising pan-cancer target for immunotherapy. It has restricted expression in normal gastric mucosa, making it a valuable biomarker for research and drug development.
