Description
CD28 monoclonal antibody targets T cells. It is primarily used to deliver a costimulatory signal in combination with CD3 antibodies, providing a second signal to promote complete T cell activation. It can also upregulate anti-apoptotic proteins (e.g., Bcl-xL), thereby prolonging T cell survival in vitro. In terms of immune regulation, blocking CD28 may suppress excessive activation (e.g., in autoimmune diseases).
