Description
Precast-GLgel Hepes SDS-PAGE 4–20% (10-Well) is a ready-to-use gradient gel designed for high-resolution protein electrophoresis. Using glass plate construction, it minimizes non-specific adsorption and produces sharper, clearer protein bands. This 4–20% HEPES-based gradient gel is pre-cast and supplied with running buffer, eliminating the need for hand-casting and greatly improving reproducibility.
The wide gradient range and stable HEPES buffer system make the gel especially suitable for separating large molecular weight proteins and membrane protein complexes, which often require gentle handling and high-resolution gradient gels.

Features
-
Glass plate construction reduces non-specific protein adsorption, producing sharper and more defined protein bands.
-
Automated gel casting ensures batch stability and excellent reproducibility.
-
Wide 4–20% gradient provides strong resolving power across a broad molecular weight range.
-
Ideal for large molecular weight proteins — the gentle HEPES buffer system and gradient formulation help maintain separation quality of high-MW targets.
-
Optimized for membrane protein complexes — suitable for samples requiring mild conditions to preserve complex stability during electrophoresis.
-
SDS-free gel matrix allows both denaturing (SDS-PAGE) and non-denaturing (Native-PAGE) applications.
-
Ready-to-use format eliminates gel preparation time and reduces potential preparation errors.
-
Long shelf life and convenient storage at 2–8°C.
Applications
-
SDS-PAGE for general protein separation
-
Separation of large molecular weight proteins
