Description

Precast-Gel Hepes-Tris 15% (15-Well) is a high-performance precast polyacrylamide gel designed to deliver excellent band resolution for routine protein electrophoresis experiments. Manufactured using automated gel casting technology, it ensures stable quality and strong batch-to-batch consistency. The innovative glass plate design effectively reduces non-specific protein adsorption, producing sharper and clearer protein bands.

Electrophoresis can be completed in 40–50 minutes under 150 V. The gel cassette can be easily opened with the Gel Knife by gently pushing through each side. GLASS Gels contain no SDS and are compatible with both denaturing and native electrophoresis. They also fit mainstream mini electrophoresis tanks such as Bio-Rad, Tanon, and Junyi Dongfang.

A variety of acrylamide concentrations—6%, 8%, 10%, 12%, 15%, 4–15%, and 4–20%—are available, with customization options for special concentrations.

Note: When samples are prepared with Quick Bands fluorescent loading buffer (Catalog #: ES008), protein bands can be directly observed under UV or LED light without gel stripping, staining, or destaining.
