CG 351, 2-Ethylhexyl amine, is a primary amine, with a branched alkyl chain. It is a colorless clear liquid at ambient, with a fish-like odor. It is slightly soluble in water, and it is soluble in many organic solvents, such as alcohols. It has many applications in a variety of industries, including pharmaceuticals, lubricants, and fuels.
