RFP-Expressing Canine Primary Tracheal Smooth Muscle Cells are characterized by immunofluorescence staining with antibody of α-smooth muscle actin and negative for bacteria, yeast, fungi, and mycoplasma. These cells can be expanded for 2-3 passages at a split ratio of 1:2 under the cell culture conditions specified by Cell Biologics. Repeated freezing and thawing of cells are not recommended.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eRed Fluorescent Protein (RFP), a mutant form of green fluorescent protein, gives rise to very bright red fluorescence when exposed to yellow-green light.
