Cucumber Green Mottle Mosaic Virus (CGMMV) Probe Realtime RT-PCR Kit is a one-step RT-PCR kit intended for research use in nucleic acid analysis under controlled laboratory conditions using probe-based real-time PCR. Purified RNA is reverse transcribed into cDNA and subsequently amplified using sequence-specific primers and probes. During amplification, fluorescence signals are generated through probe cleavage, allowing real-time monitoring of amplification under controlled laboratory conditions. The resulting signals may be used for comparative analysis of target nucleic acids.

Is validation data available for the kit?

Yes—standard validation data generated from our plasmid-based positive controls is available for all kits upon request. Please note that all kits are intended strictly for research use only.

If your team requires validation data generated using the actual pathogen, we can typically accommodate this request for a small fee. To request a validation report, please contact us at contact@biofargo.com.

What is the lead time for all PCR kits?

Standard production takes 7–14 days, after which kits ship from our laboratory to our warehouse. Expedited production (~7 days) is available upon request. We also maintain a ready inventory of our most popular kits to reduce wait times.

Can I customize this kit?

Will your kits work with any PCR system?

Yes—our kits are optimized for the most widely used qPCR platforms, including Applied Biosystems QuantStudio systems.

Do you offer discounts for bulk orders of kits?

Yes! We offer substantial discounts for bulk orders on most PCR kits. Discounts are available upon request through quotes only. Bulk discounts do not apply for online orders. Our bulk discounts apply for kits of the same type ordered at the same time. Our discounts follow a standard pricing structure:

Do you ship qPCR kits internationally?

Yes! We ship internationally via FedEx International Express (generally CIF or DAP terms). All of our international shipments include ~40 lbs of dry ice to last for a maximum of 7 days. We can also provide assistance with customs clearance (e.g., complete paperwork, provide COAs, MSDS, HS codes, etc.).

We do assess a dry ice surcharge of $15 USD for domestic shipments and $55 USD for international shipments.

Do you ship qPCR kits on ice packs or at room temperature?

No. We do not currently ship qPCR kits on blue ice or at room temperature due to our strict quality requirements. Kits might have some limited stability at room temperature, though they should be stored at -20°C for best performance.

Are your kits approved for diagnostic or clinical use?

No. All Biofargo kits are strictly for research use only (RUO). Biofargo Inc. is not authorized to sell products for diagnostic, detection, clinical, personal, or any other non-research application. Use of our kits outside of an authorized laboratory research context is not permitted.
