Carbon Absorbed Fetal Bovine Serum is a serum product with low levels of steroid hormones. Carbon adsorption can reduce the concentration of many hormones and growth factors in serum, such as estradiol, cortisol, corticosterone, B vitamins, T3, T4, prostaglandins, etc.

This serum is suitable for use in experiments where some of the above-mentioned molecules may interfere with the experimental results, and may also reduce cell growth performance for those cell cultures that require these molecules.
