Description
Bovine Virus Detection Multiplex Kit is a real-time RT-qPCR test kit for rapid detection of Bovine Viral Diarrhea Virus (BVDV), Reovirus 3 (REO-3), Bovine Parainfluenza 3 Virus (PI-3), Bovine Parvovirus type 3 (BPV-3), and Bovine Adenovirus type 3 (BAV-3).
The SHENTEK® Bovine Virus Detection Multiplex Kit (BVDV/REO-3/PI-3/BPV-3/BAV-3) utilizes the multi-qPCR technology of fluorescent probes to enable simultaneous detection of three RNA viruses (BVDV/REO-3/PI-3) or two DNA viruses (BPV-3/BAV-3) in a single well, allowing for rapid and efficient detection of bovine-derived viral contamination in animal-derived raw materials, cell banks, virus seed banks, unprocessed harvest fluids, and final products in biological products.
In conjunction with SHENTEK® Virus DNA & RNA Extraction Kit (Product No. 1506730), this kit can efficiently recover viral nucleic acids from complex samples such as cells and serum.
