Note: Certified 2 mL Amber HPLC Vial Convenience Pack – Includes 12 × 32 mm screw top amber vials with write-on spot, blue caps, and PTFE/silicone septa. Pack of 100.

Description

Routine HPLC, GC, and LC-MS analysis requires reliable sample containment, especially when samples are sensitive to evaporation, contamination, or light exposure. Poor sealing, unclear sample identification, or inconsistent vial dimensions can lead to injection errors, solvent loss, and reduced efficiency in high-throughput analytical workflows.

These 2 mL amber HPLC vials and caps (catalog no. BF-A2) are designed to provide secure sample storage and consistent autosampler performance for routine chromatography applications. Each HPLC sample vial includes an amber glass vial with a blue polypropylene screw cap and certified PTFE/silicone septum, helping maintain a reliable seal while supporting multiple injections. The amber glass helps protect light-sensitive samples, while the write-on patch and printed graduations allow quick sample identification and easier workflow management.

Suitable for HPLC, UHPLC, LC-MS, GC, and GC-MS analysis, these 2 mL amber autosampler vials are compatible with a wide range of autosamplers from Agilent, Waters, Shimadzu, Thermo Fisher, PerkinElmer, Varian, and other leading chromatography systems, making them a practical choice for pharmaceutical, environmental, food, chemical, and analytical laboratories.

FAQ

What are these 2 mL amber HPLC vials used for?

These certified 2 mL amber HPLC sample vials are designed for routine HPLC, UHPLC, LC-MS, LC-MS/MS, GC, and GC-MS sample preparation, especially when samples require protection from light exposure.
Why choose amber glass instead of clear glass?

Amber glass helps reduce light exposure, making these vials suitable for light-sensitive samples, pharmaceutical compounds, environmental samples, essential oils, fragrances, and routine analytical reagents.
Are these autosampler vials compatible with Agilent and Waters systems?

Yes. These 2 mL amber autosampler vials are compatible with most industry-standard chromatography systems, including Agilent, Waters, Shimadzu, Thermo Fisher, PerkinElmer, Varian, and other instruments using standard 9-425 screw thread vials.
What type of septa is included?

Each vial includes a certified PTFE/silicone septum that provides chemical resistance, reliable sealing, and support for multiple sample injections.
Can these vials be used for both HPLC and GC applications?

Yes. These chromatography vials are suitable for HPLC, UHPLC, LC-MS, GC, and GC-MS analytical workflows, making them practical for laboratories using multiple chromatography techniques.
What does the 9-425 screw thread mean?

The 9-425 screw thread is an industry-standard closure format used for many 12 × 32 mm autosampler vials, helping provide secure sealing and broad autosampler compatibility.
Why is the write-on patch useful?

The integrated write-on patch allows quick sample identification, while the printed graduations help monitor sample volume and improve laboratory workflow efficiency.
Are these HPLC vials certified?

Yes. These certified amber HPLC autosampler vials are manufactured to support consistent cleanliness and dimensional accuracy for reliable chromatography performance.
