The Biofargo 48-Well Open-Bottom Barcoded Cryobox is molded from a polycarbonate cap and a PC/ABS composite base — engineered to survive repeated −196 °C cycling without brittleness. The 6 × 8 SBS format holds standard 1 mL cryo tubes plus extended-length and large-diameter formats, while the open bottom lets liquid nitrogen circulate directly through each well for fast cooling and stable temperature recovery. Each box carries a laser-etched alphanumeric code and 2D barcode — permanent identification that survives LN2 immersion and autoclaving, no adhesive labels to peel off.

Compatible with standard 1 mL cryogenic tubes (including extended-length and large-diameter formats). Works in Matrix, FluidX, Micronic, and other SBS-format automated biobanking platforms.

● Automation-Ready Geometry — Precisely aligned wells with consistent spacing for robotic pick-and-place. Removable transparent lid with access openings allows robotic access without opening. Chamfered corners position the lid correctly every time.
