Description

Biofargo polycarbonate Erlenmeyer flasks are engineered for reliable suspension cell culture applications in biopharmaceutical research, vaccine production, and protein expression.

Each flask is manufactured from optically clear, high-strength polycarbonate (PC) under cGMP-compliant, automated production to ensure consistent quality and sterility. The flasks are gamma-irradiated, nonpyrogenic, and free from detectable cytotoxic substances, making them ideal for sensitive mammalian cell cultures such as CHO, 293, and Sf9 lines.

The hydrophobic vent cap provides efficient gas exchange while preventing contamination, and the precision-molded T-type sealing system ensures a tight, leakproof connection. The flask body features uniform wall thickness, reinforced conical shape, and clear graduations, offering excellent stability and visibility during orbital shaking.

Dimensionally and functionally compatible with standard 125 mL polycarbonate Erlenmeyer shake flasks used in mammalian cell culture. Head-to-head validation data available on request.

FAQ

What is PC?

PC refers to polycarbonate, a kind of high-performance engineering plastic with excellent transparency, impact resistance, and temperature resistance, which is used as the flask material here.

Can it be autoclaved (high-pressure sterilized)?

Yes, it can be autoclaved. The temperature resistance is 121℃, suitable for high-pressure sterilization.

What is the Recommended Working Volume?

3 L and below: 30%–40% of the total volume; above 3 L: 50%–70% of the total volume.
